    When we had originally planned our trip, we had planned to be in Sioux Falls for a week, but when the company Disney cruise date was changed from June to July, we decided to just spend one night boondocking (just parked, not hooked up to water or electricity) there instead.     July 3-4, 2014

    We were thankful to be able to celebrate the Fourth of July with family we haven't seen in a while. My uncle, aunt, and grandmother live in Topeka. Another cousin and her family live about an hour from there, so when we were originally planning our trip, we were hoping we would get to see each of them.     June 28-July 5, 2014

    After a busy 2 weeks with friends and family, it was refreshing to be in a quiet, pastoral setting. We drove through the beautiful, peaceful hills of Iowa and arrived at Eagle Ridge RV Park to very friendly RV park owners who walked us to our site and made sure we had what we needed. The rain started falling just after we set up, so we enjoyed a quiet evening in the RV.
